When Jesus doesn’t answer…

Many times we pray because we have a need that requires God’s attention. It can be because we’re sick, have relational issues/crisis’, financial needs, or whatever. But what happens when it seems like God is not listening to us? It may feel like the words barely get out of your mouth and then hit the floor.

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOU

Mark 11:22-24 – Jesus said, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,’be removed and be cast into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come to pass, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

When we pray, we must believe the Lord hears us. It’s not a matter of throwing something against the wall and seeing if it sticks or not. It’s not a “I hope this works” mindset…we MUST believe we will receive what we have prayed for! God loves you and it’s His good pleasure to give you His Spirit and His kingdom (Luke 11:13; Luke 12:32)!
